Red Ribbon

The project was produced in the frame of the Multimedia Lab Production Grant Program for South Caucasus Female Photographers in October 2019 mentored by Justyna Mielnikiewicz / MAPS. "Red Ribbon" is an immersive project delving into the poignant narratives of individuals whose lives intertwine with the symbolism of the red ribbon. Through this exploration, the project focuses on the profound moments where the red ribbon becomes a significant motif. From the tender rituals of childbirth, where the red ribbon signifies protection and blessings, to the sacred vows of marriage, where it symbolizes unity and commitment, "Red Ribbon" portrays these poignant moments with depth and sensitivity.
